Nope

It's a Demon pro king made by NIck Adams.

The demon proking was the flagship demon speed control from 1986-1988.

It was used by Jamie Booth in the 1986 Euros where he made A final with an RC10 against a field of four wheel drives.
It was also the speed controller he used in 1987 worlds at Romsey (Forward only version).

Using the same PCB Nick adams offered various versions for sale.

Proking 8 fets + reverse
Proking forward only
king 6 fets + reverse

I asked Nick for a forward only for 1/12th racing and he sold me a six fet forward only.
1988 Nick upgraded the brake transistor by adding (Stacking) another on top

spec wise: the fets are BUZ11 same as in a Novak 1.
30 Amps continuous current each x6 = 180 Amps king . x8 = 240 Amps Pro king peak current is approx x3.
540 Amps king 720 Amps Proking.

Braking is handled by a Power transistor TIP36A max 25A this really is the week point in the speed control.

These speed controls where made to order, NIck almost never had any on hand. I purchased two from him back in the day and had to wait several weeks on both occasions.

Motor Limits.
I don’t remember any motor limits but bare in mind that before SCE batteries 1988 you couldn’t really run anything crazy hot and last 5 min on UK high grip grass tracks or indoors on carpet.
Jamie Booth ran a Reedy silver dot 2x21 in Italy 1986.

The hottest motor I ever ran back then was a 17 turn and the faster guys probably didn’t go under 15 turn.

This is awesome information, thank you! Probably quite rare today then I guess. I remember racing against this very car in the late 80's and as you say, Demon 16 Triples ruled the track and the Revolution 15 Double was considered a totally wild choice. I wonder what these old units could actually handle on track today?? Does anybody actually run one??
