Quote: Also playing with the idea of a belt-drive conversion for the Stealth, are these still being done, are they even wanted, or? The racing guys could benefit from these, they're the Shiznik (To use what I think is modern youth vernacular, Hell I dunno!) Chris REC Hey Chris! Talk to Daryl Lane. I know he has NOS Lethal Weapon trannys for Ultima and King Cab but no cases for Stealth. Maybe you could join forces and just whip up some cases and throw the A&L guts in it. A lot less work for you and the Lethal Weapon is a proven design. As far as I know the guts are the same. As far as adjustable rear arm mounts......all I can say is HE...DOUBLE HOCKEY STICKS YEAH! And I think its "SHIZNIT"

Shizznick or shizznik is one too... There are many and they can be used many different ways.
The Shizznit The Shizzle The Shizznet The Shizzney The Shizz The Shizza
I'm sure there are more... that is all I can think of off the top of my head. If you still "race" rc cars at any race track on the west coast, you learn all the goofy new lingo.

I think the only person who could correct my grammer in this, uh, 'language' would be Snoop Dawg! (It is 'Dawg', right? I'm so old.....) Chris REC

So, after the flurry of interest my 1st few days here, things have been quiet on my end- Don't think I'm going anywhere! I'm just finishing mapping the Stealth tranny case, ordered & made a couple tools to do nice knockoff wheel nuts, and am generally thinking about this thing most every day. Things will start happening soon, worry not. I can't believe how into this thing I am, I always wanted one but for something so basically simple it has history and pedigree, and it has really grabbed me. Expect some prototypes soon! Thanks all, Chris REC

The trans cases sold like hot cakes which makes me wonder if they would still sell as well since the majority of those who wanted one bought one or more already.

I think there was substantial demand for the trans cases that was unmet because 300SD had to stop making them.

I gotta check this thread more often! The knockoff nuts got done, and I'm thinking now about what to do next. The wheels only pose 1 prob, but I think I can get around that- I'd need 'pucks' cut from round stock, so I need to find a local shop that can feed 2.5" round. I'll fart around with some things in the meantime, arm mounts or steering bellcranks or such. Chris REC

Still looking for rear arm mounts! Not so many on ebay, and the ones that are out there look really tired! I'm happy to share my layouts and .stp files.

I've been 'playing' with the wheels, which are temporarily back burner whilst I adress a couple issues- Suffice it to say these are gonna be Super Bad-Arse, hence I can't just bang 'em out. Have some work done on the arm mounts, but I think I got too into making them adjustable & must work backwards & simplify 'em a tad- Makes sense that I do those next, so thanks for the kick in the pants! I've been designing my butt off on parts for the RC10, but it takes a lot of work before actual parts appear, so don't think I'm blowing you chaps off! Chris REC
