FINAL RUN of the Scale Nuts & Wrench Sets, Info & Giveaway!

Post by toyranosaur »

OK fellow Scale enthusiasts! Our next offering is the ever-popular Alloy Scale Lug Nuts & Wrench Set! Thses have been many people's favourite product to date, and were the product that got REC off the ground. Why 'Final Run'? It is becoming more widely known that I will be phasing out R/C products over the next 6 to 12 months and pursuing other endeavours. Therefore, all items from here on out will NOT EVER be re-issued: This affects rarity, availability and value like never before, so now is the time if you want something!

There are 2 styles to choose from:

-A set of ALL 8-BOLT

-OR a set of 'Mixed' which has TWO OF EACH STYLE if you'd like Warn lockers on the front & '8-Bolts' on the rear.

They are 3/8" dia. and use a very tight press-fit Nylock nut threaded to fit Tamiya/Axial M4x.7 axle threads: This is superior to merely tapped & threaded nuts, as they retain the Nylok insert so you don't need to 'Loc-Tite' them on. The special wrench is necessary, as the nuts are cylindrical just like most 1:1's, and engage the nut faces to leave people scratching their heads how you got 'em on...

We are the originators of this design, and the price has remained the SAME for almost 8 years: These have been copied but never duplicated! (And the copies were either much pricier & not nearly as detailed, or cheap tapped pieces, or plastic, or...) These have sold like hotcakes the 3-4 times we've offered them over the years- Guys who got some wished they'd have gotten more, and guys who didn't order in time were Emailing me pleading for a set, seriously. So, make life easy & put your deposit down before it's too late! Scale is all about details, and those factory lug nuts ain't doing your rig any favours in the realism department- Go check it out & see how they're destroying the realism..... (NOTE: Acommodations may be required depending on your axle length- Trim, spacer, etc. so the axle does not come through the face of the nut, Duh.)

Price, Shipping, & Order Info - READ ALL BEFORE ORDERING!

Not to be a meany here, but I must now insist upon uniformity of orders. BE ADVISED that failure to read and follow these simple instructions may get you an immediate refund of your deposit, which you must re-submit it as per the following! Be sure I have all your info-Ship addy, choice of nuts, etc. WITH YOUR DEPOSIT. Simply click under the pics below, selecting the nuts you want, and change the quantity as needed.

Price is $29.99 each (includes shipping in the US)
International orders will be charged only $7 per order shipping(Even if you buy several)
All that is required to get on the cut list is a deposit of $5 per set!
Do NOT send as 'Gift', and be SURE I have your shipping address!
Balance Due's will ONLY be sent to the same Paypal address as the deposit came from, just before they're ready to ship
Only US Dollars accepted (Duh)
Ship date is 'Estimated', as I never know how many I'll be making
Canadian buyers, please allow up to 6 weeks for delivery-It's your P.O., not me!

TO BUY WITHOUT DEPOSIT

To purchase outright (No deposit,) pmts. (Including shipping of $7 for Int'l.s) may be made by sending to my PP address of [email protected] Make SURE to add a note which nuts you want!

Remember, these, like all of our offerings, are custom made in the REC Skunkworks, and are ONLY available for a SHORT TIME to deposit paying customers! We are a specialty manufacturer for discerning individuals, not a hobby shop, so do NOT maintain an inventory! Please submit your deposit of $5 PER ORDER (Or full payment if you like) by the March 21, 2014 cutoff date (10 days): The next day I start cutting, so be on the list of guys who do not compromise. If you're unsure how I do things, take just a minute & go to http://www.rogueelementcomponents.com : All will be made clear.

You will be notified of your balance due via Paypal a bit before the Estimated Shipping Date. Simple!

Feel free to contact me with any questions, E-mail is probably best.

Many Thanks!

Chris Cazan, Rogue Element Components
