Re-Re Chassis Quality Question
Re-Re Chassis Quality Question
Hi guys.
I got my Re-Re in the mail yesterday and I am super excited. I am going to build it and shelf it next to my Cadillac. Anyway, I was looking over the chassis and it seems a bit... off. I have a few pictures. Should there be the ridges and bends that are in the pics? Should I contact Associated for a replacement? If this is normal, I won't worry about it. Thanks all!

Re: Re-Re Chassis Quality Question
It's normal, the original has it too just not as noticeable.
It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas

Re: Re-Re Chassis Quality Question
They said the re-release parts were going to have slight variations to distinguish them from the originals. I guess typical dodgy modern craftsmanship does the trick.

Re: Re-Re Chassis Quality Question
I've read enough reports to make me feel that there were some substantial quality control issues. How about the top shaft dilemma? I'm not knocking the re-release at all, and would possibly like to own one in the future. I'm just sayin'.marlo wrote:I find it very hard to believe that the re-re is of a lesser grade than the original. Should all be top notch stuff
