I merged these threads together since my worlds rere is going to become a sort of 91/93 worlds hybrid. When I have time, this is gonna happen....

Printed parts on right. If I knew this was the route I was going to take I may have wanted the rear hubs to match the truck hub carrier. With the boxy hub it's more of a throwback to the original. I had thought of dying those black as well.

Tub cut, bulkhead cut, and parts now fitted. Looking pretty good so far.

Thanks Brian.

Got the new truck nose plate cut down and got the front end parts assembled. There's gonna be a hold up on getting it to roller status since I want to design a new front tower to accomodate the .71 shocks.

New towers cut by Jeff. Didn't really need a new rear tower but wanted them to match.

Dang Jason, I have not been following the threads much lately, I can't believe you are actually working on a car and making progress.

Looks really nice.

i had this up for sale for awhile but had no takers. So, I figured I'd get with Jeff to help with cutting a new front tower. I was never really happy with the first one. It looked good on paper, but once on the car it just didn't look or function properly. I drew it too short, too narrow, and too bulky. So, we raised the shock mounting holes, stood the sides up a bit and pushed them out. I'm happy with it now. Looks better, suspension works better (travel wise), and I won't have to narrow the body as much to get it through the tower.
