Hi guys. I ran my RC10 Worlds last Sunday at my local club, a bumpy astro track with a 7.5 and it went really well, beating all of the 4wd modern cars in my heat! Anyway, I am running saddle pack lipos in the car, and the battery strap is causing a headache. Basically, the battery connection tubes are right under the strap on both sides (connectors next to each other in the middle of the car), meaning I was relying on the connectors being squashed down to hold the batts in. Does anyone make a strap with a slimmer central section before I hack a piece of fibreglass up? I also noticed the keyhole slots face opposite directions, not sure how you are supposed to fit it without removing a screw every time!
Does anyone know if the Ultima RB6 battery strap will fit the original RC-10 battery cups? I really want to replace the plastic straps and I need something small to fit a shorty pack.

Those do look very nice. I prefer the happy face of the short version to the Scream face of the longer version.
I'm missing the bars that slip onto the tops of the battery cups, that hold the pack in place.
I have some white polystyrene sheets thick enough to use as a replacement. Instead of hunting the original parts on eBay, and spend money...

it only seems right that you're talking about me, being as though i'm the only mod that has said anything to you in your short time here. since that's the case, i can make it so you don't have to deal with me anymore. just say the word.
I saw this on eBay and was wondering if it would work in my RC10T. I'll be using a hardcase lipo in the truck. It looks like one of the vintage pure tech straps.

Surely it can be adapted. Make sure you secure the front of the battery to avoid it to slip in a colission.
