Re: New Parts

Big 3D printed part update today.
I have been working hard on multiple parts projects, so it has taken a while to get to this point. I have been contracted into working on prototype designs for another RC company. I have also volunteered time for a non-profit group to design and make some awards. It has been keeping me very busy and adding in the XX bulkhead production did not help.

So finally the A5010 replacements are here. After much testing with the JRXT setup I realized the original design would not work on the Jrx2. The wheel would rub depending on how much slop you have in your 5 link suspension. So I have 2 versions right now. One is for JRXT only and one is a little thinner on the outside and can be used for JRX2 or JRXT. I was going to do just one, but thought with the bigger tires of the JRXT the beefier design might give users better peace of mind.

Jrx2 or JrxT version

Jrxt only version

The A2000 replacement

Now many knew I was working on A4001 battery cup, but I have gone a step further for graphite chassis models. I have the X4004 model as the first release of battery cups. More designs will be released later, that is why this is part number x4004. X4001-3 coming soon.
It is designed without the front screw mounts and the wall is pushed forward to give more space. But the big thing about this part is the integrated wire clip. Now no more lose wires or need for zip ties. Sorry this won't make new taller LiPo batteries fit, that design is still in my head and there is other problems that have to be solved for that to fit.

Of course most people knew I had a shock holder design in the works. This project right here is gone through the most changes and variations of anything so far. Now you can have a nice shock holder for the old losi shocks to set in while you wait for all the air bubbles to work out of the oil. You also get an awesome wrench. The whole thing breaks down into a small pack.

Of course I need a big surprise nobody knew about. The x9000 ESC Shelf with Wire Clip. A ESC shelf that works with every model made before the XX. It has an awesome wire clip just like the new battery cup. Keep those wires nicely organized. I designed it long in length so I could fit my ESC and Receiver on at the same time. This allows me to easily move the electronics from model to model and not worry about sticking them down with servo tape on each chassis. There is 2 sets of screws included for mounting to the rear shock tower. The longer screws are for models that use the shock tower spacer, like Jrx-Pro and LXT. Speaking of the LXT, it will only work on the LXT if you take off the Long Wheel Base battery cover arch.

Most of these will be made on demand initially until I have time to make things in all the colors. The shock holders are only going to be in grey because they are a pain to make and grey seems to work the easiest right now when making these.

Ok it has been one year since I started selling 3D printed parts. Today for the first anniversary I am introducing an improved version of one of the first parts. The A1507 gets upgraded to ball bearing with the new A1508 BEARING STEERING ARMS KIT. Comes with the ball bearings.

Then there is a couple new parts for the XX line. I am sure nobody is going to get too excited, but some people will probably appreciate them. They allow people to get some parts with out buying the whole a4110 set.

X4111 XX XXT SERVO BRACE. This brace has the battery strap post and is a little lighter than original. Also has the super awesome ST on it to go with the Sabula Tech XX Front Bulkhead. ( I am sure you are all getting your credit cards out now :) )

X4113 XX SERVO BEARING KIT. This kit includes the little top brace that holds the servo arms in place and 4 ball bearings.

It has been a few months. Time for some new stuff for the Losi people again.

STX2008 SIde links for 5 Link suspension. **Rear links not included, those need a rethinking in design. They broke on the track after rough landings.
http://sabulatech.com/storefront/product.php?id_product=3523

STA4001 Battery Cup. Copy of the original a4001 cup. Unless you are running NiCad you probably want to stay away from this. I am actually not sure why you would want this one. But I had the design done so here it is.
http://sabulatech.com/storefront/product.php?id_product=3519

STX4002 Long Battery Cup. FIts molded chassis.
http://sabulatech.com/storefront/product.php?id_product=3520

STX9001 Short ESC Shelf for JRX line.
http://sabulatech.com/storefront/product.php?id_product=3521

STX9002 XX XXT ESC Shelf. Stick your ESC to this instead of your rear shock tower or chassis.
http://sabulatech.com/storefront/product.php?id_product=3522

Currently working on a battery cup setup this will allow you to run modern tall LiPo Shorty packs in the JRX line. look for that in a few months.
Also top brace for molded chassis is pretty much done I think. Just need more track time, but snow has stopped me cold….
