Only 9 this month, I didn't notice it right away but Groomi had entered this month and he won the January contest. So his entry was removed.

g

That narrows it down for me as the Cat XLS was really nice , but the rules are the rules .
If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.

Jim, where do they come from? Or is it custom plating?!?!

Thanks!
Paul
Back in the 80's there was a company named CCP (Custom Chrome Products). They took stock Tamiya parts and chrome plated them. They were blingy and I'm not sure how popular they were as you don't come across their parts very often. To build this truck I was lucky enough to find complete new built chassis that had a few cracked parts. I think the chroming process made the parts brittle. For several years I had been collecting chrome parts so I was able to replace the broken stuff and add my stash of aftermarket parts to make what you see today.

I used the chrome chassis that Tamiya released on my frog. The chrome is a lot higher quality and more durable than the CCP chassis

I've been paying $2.99 for a couple of years now. Knock on wood I haven't been affected by their new third party linking ban

It's not over yet. These contests usually garner 50+ votes and at this point only 33 have been cast. There are stil plenty of votes left that can turn the direction of this contest
