I may or may not be building one of these(look for a thread soon  ). Are the rear shock spacer settings designed to use the 1.32" shock shafts?

Also, just from an eyeball, it looks like the steering bellcranks can contact the arms on the lower inner hinge area when the arms are compressed upwards and the steering is turned towards the arm. I don't have the shocks installed to see where they create a hard stop, but has anyone else seen contact in this area?

has there been a post that explained the upper and steering link lengths, ball center to center? I remember someone mentioning some weird bump steer and that the link lengths were critical in this area.

Hey,

Yes, 1.32" shock shaft. I used one 1/8" spacer inside the shock.

I've just finished putting my car together and noticed that with the race arms front arms and steering, there isn't any clearance for the steering cranks when the suspension is compressed. Should I shim the steering upwards and has anyone else thought that this is an issue?
David this was actually an issue that was found on the original car. if you look at some of the pictures, you can see where the front arms were ground down in the same area you are having a problem with. The issue is that the front is really cramped for space. You will find that car has quite a bit of steering and depending on your track or driving style, you may need to take some of the steering out of the car.

Post up some pics once you get it going.

Sounds interesting as I can't see the problem in my runner.
After tuning the 3d-model with my current real car setup - teoretical measurement for bump in was 1.2 deg when chassis touches the ground (25deg arm travel). With the real car I had hard time seeing anything.
Bellcrank link = 38.5mm
Steering link = 72.8mm
Camber link = 64.1mm
Bump steer spacers = 3x0.8mm

When adding lenght to bellcrank link and bump steer spacers, zero deg bump in can be reached easily.
