I put it in all my ads on ebay cause more than likely those are the only type of people interested in buying a collector car. If I listed it as just the item it might not get half the views. I do what's in my best interest.
When I find stuff I actually want to buy more than likely vintage is in the title.

Yes, that makes sense, but follow this logic. The following are current numbers for various searches:
vintage 3,119,230
vintage, toys & hobbies 300,667
vintage, toys & hobbies, RC 8753
vintage, toys & hobbies, RC, RC10 1151
toys & hobbies, RC, RC10 5521
If I'm looking for RC10 stuff, I will get my best search from NOT using the word "vintage". It's a limiter... If I want to sell or buy stuff, the adjective means nothing to me. It just peeves me due to its poor usage.

I never include "vintage" in my search terms because almost all the items that appear are way overpriced, because some guy figured "it's old, therefore it's vintage, therefore I have a greatly exaggerated idea of the item's worth". If I was a collector with money to burn, why not? But if you're looking for good deals, items with "vintage" or "rare" in the description indicate the seller either knows it's worth a lot, or assumes it's worth a lot...and in either case, it's probably worth more than I'll ever spend. So I avoid that keyword.

I use "vintage rc car" a lot cause I'm looking for those cars that people don't know what they have. If I want to limit my search I leave it out. But I like cars that some don't know the name of.

"Minty" is even worse.
I'll add "rare".
