I got the new AE multi driver pictured and it's great. I still use the old AE invidual anodized allen drivers on the bench.

4.5" channel locks are definitely useful in many situations. Add the long/fine needle nose... that'll get you through most scenarios. :)

I am curious what folks use to remove snap rings, especially the small ones. I've tried to find snap ring pliers with bits that small, but I don't think they exist.

Also, has anyone come across a driver or bit that fits the tiny screws that secure the bearing in the idler gear inside 6-gear transmissions?

what kinda snap rings? for e-clips and the snap rings in shocks and outdrives in the 6 gear I use my 00 tweezers and a dental pick to lift and walk out of the groove.

I have a fine tip jewelers flat head for removal of clips/rings. The tip is very small, and just a little twist will start to remove it and then use it to pull it off the shaft.

Also for eclips I have a very fine point set of needle nose pliers that work well as a long as the eclip isn't really flush against the surface of the part.
