I'm all for modern tires but I'm not a fan of those wheels. Maybe in black but that's it.

Dumb question: do they need to be used together or will these tires fit the kit 3-piece wheels? The beads don't look like they would fit.

Jason said they would, but you need to glue them
unless it's for a shelf queen

Boooaaaaah...just finished the the body....

It tooks a lot of time. No marks for holes, no window mask....that's simply too bad. Never took so long to finish a body -.-'

I'm not very happy with the result....got already a second body project in mind....

I keep reading that people have had issues with ordered and getting them. I ordered two on two different occasions from Tower and they showed up without any issues. Noting I preordered the first one pretty early when the announcement came out.

Not that I will ever build one of them

I built mine as soon as it arrived, but didn't get a chance to get it dirty until yesterday. Running a Reedy Radon 17T motor and the kit tires and wheels was a blast at our local park/baseball diamond. Car is so much fun to run. I easily get 30+ mins of runtime with a 2s 5000mah lipo. You guys who aren't building yours are missing out.

My daughter and I build it as soon as I got it, but haven't driven it yet

And ordered a heap of parts, enough to finish 2 gold tub A-stamp and a black B-stamp

The B5 manual was briefly online before being removed. On page 28 it listed: 6002 RC10 Worlds Kit.

Maybe we'll all be blessed by the vintage gods and get a CE, Team Car, and Worlds re-re over the next two years... capped off by a '25th anniversary limited release' of the '91 stealth car proto that never saw the light of day!!!

Seems like this thread has been put on the shelf with most of the re-re's that were sold.

I think we can push 175 :D

Speaking of on the shelf... I had no choice but to paint the manual body for my shelfer. I'm headed to California for a vacay during the beginning of May. It's only appropriate that I swing into Associated and have Tim and maybe some others sign it.

Can't wait to get my re-re runner going too.

I just thought of something.... Shouldn't we call the 6001 re-release the "Commercentre" instead of re-re?
