Hi guys, I haven’t been active with my RC cars in 3 years, so this will be an update what has happened with the “Mad Dog” sins last time.
I was invited to the Euro Masters 2023 six month ago. My first thought was that I haven’t touch none of my RC cars sins Euro Masters 2020 never the less driven one of them. But I was interested to go sins it should be held in Leeds in Great Britain. So I decided to enter my Rough Raider class 1977-1981 and my 834b in class 1977-1986.
So, it was high time to sort out the problem I last time in Holland with the brittle Yokomo 834B trailing arms and lost parts for the Delta slipper. So I ordered new trailing arms from ShapeWays, and I chose the reinforced ones that “Dadio” has deigned, “Dadio” also helped me with some bushings for the arms. The missing parts for the Delta slipper was sorted out by my good friend Bo, he made new parts on his lathe for me. The 3D-printed arms needed some shimming of the bearing, but that problem is now taken care of by Dadio. So, the Mad Dog was now ready for some racing.

I actually tock the car to Leeds, and it was a long ride. I started from our country house and traveled 960km (590 miles) to Rotterdam and there I tock the ferry to Hull. From Hull to the race track east of Leeds was only 80km (50miles).
In Sunday qualifying I crashed the right front end and I also wreck some gears at the same time. But I ended up well in fifth place in the final. :D
