I don't fry much at home. Not just for health reasons, but it's a pretty messy operation. However, if you're going to bother with the mess you may as well go all out. Fried green tomatoes, cauliflower and onion rings. It was really good. I made a Ranch/Tabasco dipping sauce for it. I'm glad it's a PITA to clean up so that I'm not tempted to do it more often...

With crab? cheese, potatoe? Looks freakin great. I get some from my butcher stuffed with sausage, they are about 4 inches wide.

Just a seasoned cream cheese and cheddar mixture. Local store had their mushrooms on sale for next to nothing so I had to get some. I've used sausage before, but never crab. I like that idea. 8)

Then woke up and had one of my famous mile high ham, egg and cheese. A pretty healthy 12 hr period...

That pork steak looks just like a whole hog I'm now noticing.
Worked in the yard all day so went with a light dinner of grilled chicken wraps and grilled veggies. Very tasty.

No idea why that cat showed up... :?

A little midnight snaction last night. Had a leftover grilled chicken breast so I sliced it, smothered it with cheese and jalapeƱos and thru it in the broiler on cast iron. Topped with buffalo and ranch.

I was out of town so it's been 9 days since I last grilled! It was tough, but I survived. Went with a simple family favorite to welcome us back. Grilled chicken and cast iron seasoned vegetables. It's good to be back...

Interesting, I did the same thing with a whole chicken tonight.

It was bought whole and de-boned. Rubbed with wild garlic and 4 herbs from the store. Roasted it for an hour or so.

Turned out great, and some left over. Was great, ate most of it too quick.... no pics.

Same thing for me this past weekend :) had about 15 people over for various birthdays & smoked up 3 dozen pieces of chicken...it was nearly gone before I got to make a plate.

With The Olive Master devoured I had to move on to game day wings. It's a rough life. Perfect snack for Colts vs. Texans in the barn.
