Tight, looks great! Tasty I assume?

We did pizza in the pizza oven, 20 minutes and wow! Store bought, home made... it does it all.

I did a brisket in the smoker the other day, left work early at 1, came home and started by 2. It was 10:30 when I took it off. Tasty as well.

Those are pretty cool. I got an air fryer a few months ago and really like it. Cooks really fast and easy to clean.

Eh, leftovers.
However, 2 days ago, I finally managed to do something resembling a decent pizza, after 2 years of trial and error  the main issue was the crust. My father knows how to make awesome pizza dough, I tried it several times, even with his coaching, and I never came up with anything decent. My wife and I tried alternative recipes, they either failed, or created a super thick crust, thicker than the filling. We tried buying ready made pizza bases, but let's be honest, they're garbage.
I got lazy and slathered tomato sauce and whatever ingredients I wanted on a tortilla. It came out quite great, I blew my own mind since I thought it would be horrible  the base was thin and elastic, and it noticeably shortens the cooking time, but now I have one last challenge: cook a pizza with a puffed up crust. If I manage to do this, I'll have mastered pizza-bending. If I can't, well, I'm still quite good at burgers and crepes, so I won't be left without anything cool to impress the kids with.

yeah, there is a reason the pizza shop guys toss the dough, that's to get it THIN. you actually need to make it thin to the point you think 'crap, i think i ruined it'. also, you can't work dough too much as it toughens it.

1. Don't throw your pizza on to the ceiling?
2. Move to Australia, after which it will be on the floor...
3. Tell a child that they cannot eat the pizza.
4. Wait for the cockroaches.
5. Pizza crust on the ceiling? Fake news.
6. Down here on Oz, we have ladders.... we also have flying carpets, but that's a different story altogether....

Hope I have been helpful.

Alex

Sometimes a Monday night home project runs late so you have to go with a full-on Rager at 10 o'clock at night...
