I did ribs as well, in the oven though. Had to work today and not enough time for the smoker.

Nice ribs, I hope they are thankful.

That is F'n excellent. The beer while sitting around smokin meat, the end result is great and very fun to do.

Well, the beer COULD be good, but he's got a Busch Lite sitting there . . .

Totally teasing, of course. My general drinking beer at home is MGD because it's affordable and a nice light beer that can be taken outside for the day when working in the yard without "overdoing" it. When out and about it's Fat Tire or Firestone Walker 805. If I'm at a brewery, then it's up in the air because it's very difficult for me to find malty, caramel forward beer in a hop head world. I'm not a fan of the grassy flavor, aroma, or bitterness that hops bring to the table, and most brewers are ALLLLLLLL about the hops, the more the better. Basically, they enjoy their tongue being ripped out of their face and stomped on, and experience I am definitely not a fan of.

My best bud and I have a running patter that whatever the other person's tastes are is a s****y beer and whatever we like is a good beer. All in good fun, but I say, there's no accounting for bad taste!

BBQ pork butt sandwiches with chow and swiss on a toasted hoagie.

Dry rubbed and on the grill for an hour.
Slow cooked in chicken stock with onions, carrots and celery. Defatted and pulled.
