I see I'm not the only one that has way too many of these. I think my current mini count is 4 JRX2 and 3 JRXT.
Oh I plan to have 7 (or 8 but that 8th one is dumb lol) by the time I am done, one for each model based on the jrx2 ;)

I added a thin nut under my ball studs now the steering doesn't snag, whee.

The car looks so stock and entry level.. heh, I love how the threaded rod turned out :)

Edit, I kinda liked this perspective

Oh nice! I have been working on a xx buggy chassis to shrink to 16th scale myself. I was thinking of redesigning those bellcranks a bit to eliminate the bearings and servo saver when I shrunk them

I'm planning on changing the design a bit to try and emulate the worlds prototype's machined look. Should be stronger, too, since the machined style suits 3D printing better than the molded production parts. I did something similar with the steering knuckle and upright.

Once i get these parts modeled and scaled, I'll have to figure out where to locate the posts on the chassis. And then I can start printing!

Got in my new test subjects, they don't seem too willing but they have no choice! Muahahaha -evil scientist laughter-

The camera adds 10 layers of dirt to the dirty one heh.

I wanted to print some orange antenna mounts so um.. yeah

one slotted for easier antenna mounting.

...oops, used the 3d model I had made of the rc10 antenna mount before I adjusted the holes for antenna tube, was an easy fix.

Finally had time to figure out my solidworks issues and made up a non slipper spur gear that CLM was looking for.

Hoping the test print works out OK then I'll publish it.

First Try!

Fits well and seems to be usable with no gear mesh issues.

I'm already planning on making a nonfunctional replica of it.

That should be easy enough making an outer slipper plate that resembles a hydra drive, I have faith in Rogue over there :)

Biggest issue actually might be the spur gear cover won't fit anymore, it should be easy enough to model up a mold for someone to vacuform a hydradrive gear cover however.

Mini SE is coming along well, it only has one steering post though the screw stripped trying to take one off one of the donors. I am in the process of printing rear hubs at the moment. Those front arms are a pain heh. I plan to print a grey retro case for it to match the lxt. I am also considering finding a machine shop that can machine me 4 sets of longer shock bodies and shafts... maybe heh.

Hopefully the jrxt wheels come in stock some day so I can get several sets, a chassis would be nice as well for the pro although I would be forced to reprofile it from the rather clunky shape Horizon produced. Finally got the ender 3 pro printing again, although not with the orange filiment, either something is whack in the center of the bed, or I have nonstick orange pla... the black is sticking fine though lol

Why not just use the jrxt shocks? They were the same size in the 1:10 versions
