JRXT

I have had this truck partially done for a while now. I pulled it last night as I had a few jobs left to finish on it. I replaced the stock turnbuckles with the Tecnacraft kit (lots of fun  ). Cut out and mounted the OE body. No not a repro. And added the side shields and a new gearcover. As usual, all it lacks is paint and decals. I plan on doing the boxart scheme on it.

Goodies: Losi MTM modified motor, Tecnacraft turnbuckle kit, bearing supported bellcranks, optional white 3 piece wheels.

Wow! No wonder you were able to part with the one you sold me. That is gorgeous and I've never even seen those white wheels in person or in pictures. Have you mounted them to see how they look on the truck?

yeah, I'm sure there was no problems getting ride of the old one if this is the new one. That's sooo clean...and the motor is just as sharp, looks really good!

It looks good with them on it pretty much regardless of the body color. White goes w/everything. I will probably put these wheels on my new built Junior T. I love the look of the original JRXT too much to swap out the orange wheels. That and I am not too fond of the OE wheels that came with the Jr.T.

Brandon, what does it say on the back of the motor guard?--and did you build this from scratch, or restore?

It says JRX2. It was built from scratch.

I have seen very few with the early non servo saver cutout chassis, but ( and this is only as i'm told) the early chassis trucks have different bellcranks ( not mine either) and the old style battery box, and non reinforced link posts. I'm learning, but I assume like AE, there are a lot of varations

nice! makes me want to build up mine.
I think I am still missing a couple nip parts, but it's ben so long since I looked at that box I don't remember what I need.
There were lots of parts variations along the way and I'm assume there were some transitional vehicles between versions, but I don't know enough about the history to say for sure.

Fairly certain that you are correct on all counts.
