The X pattern rears and 4 row fronts were also run at the worlds, the arm mod was a Dunn trick to add camber adjustment. Seriously a great example of a race car time capsule. Also its a Pro Radiant-

This car looks like it has all the same mods as the Dunn brothers cars. Aside from the chassis side plates which have been cut down.
Awesome find. A real peice of history there.

that is a pro radiant with a boost body.

the spur adapter does not look like an AYK/raceprep piece.
the side plates/chassis are either custom, or something I've never seen before. The original side plates had big oval holes where the stick pack would have been mounted, right in front of the motor.
factory pro shocks
aftermarket or custom idler and adjuster
all of the rod ends look aftermarket or other manufacturer(factory ones were really translucent and I don't think dyeable)
rear hubs appear different than stock or possibly dyed.
also set up for a missing front sway bar.

The saddle pack chassis really dictated which AYK shell you could run on these cars. The factory Pro Radiant shell was too narrow for the saddle pack chassis, hence why the BOOST shell was used by so many of the racers back in the day.

Rear hubs could be RC10 items as this was a common mod back then to alter the rear toe but also the camber link length and angle.

A very cool peice of history right here.

Pictured here is the Mike Dunn's old racer-notice many similarities.

Such a cool find. Lucky to find at a flea market. Man, one day I will own one of these unicorns. Don't know why, I've always just had such a thing for the Radiants.

The car was possibly owned by a St. Louis area racer based on the AD Racing decals - that was Alan D________ (sorry, name escapes me), a STL area battery matcher (from whome I bought a BUNCH of packs bitd - good matcher and honest person in an era where honesty and battery matching were seldom used in the same sentance) and R & R was the hobby shop/distributor owned by Roy Weast in Quincy, IL.

When going through some 'old stuff' the other day I noticed that I still have some of each of these stickers.

If there was ever a golden age of racing in the Midwest, that was the time and the day that Roy closed was a sad day in the history of our sport/hobby....
