Wow Dennis! The Scorpion looks slick with that body. And the other way around, the body looks great with "real" shock towers.

I like the wheel choices...what rear wheels are those, and are they aluminum?

Many thanks for the kind words.
The front wheels are original plastics from the 2014 kit.
The rears are wide 1,9" tourers in aluminum - I bought a set of four, never used, with sedan hawgs tires. They could be one af a kind.
Regarding the paint - I´m aiming for a scheme in metallic blue, white and orange.
Edit - corrected spelling

Most touring wheels are only 26mm wide, so finding some with some real width is indeed rare. How wide are they?

Thanks Lars
Coelacanth - They´re 32 mm wide. I´ve Just read the auction description, they were described as Unikat / one of a kind.

That metallic teal must be a very strong, overpowering color...I was aiming for--and it looked like--metallic midnight blue, but it ended up a bit different.

What are you planning to do with your extra set of those rear wheels?

Don't do it Marc! You know builds always start with a set of wheels!

The body You painted still looks great, even if the metallic didn´t come out as planned.
The color I used was metallic green, the metallic blue was empty and apparently just kept for display
Regarding the wheels - It´s a pain in the butt to find suitable rims for the Scorpion with the right offset. 2.2" is too big in my opinion.
I´m a big fan of the natural colored Proline´s, which suits a lightweight racebuggy better.
If I can find some reasonable priced sets, it´ll free up the aluminums.

PM me a picture of the Prolines you're talking about; I might have a set or two. I picked up several sets when I was building OptiMutt.

Like everyone said, I like the wheels too! They really set it off with the low profile body even though the color did not come out right.
