Arms for truck nose?

What are my options for the RC10T front end, in regards to arms? I currently have 2 RC10T buggies, but want to make one with legal width for buggies. I need to narrow both ends.

What are my options for front arms while using the truck nose? Is Klein my best bet? Should I just use regular rear arms? Or is there a better way? I want to run the car, so I assume printed parts are not the best idea.

klein is strongest option. A few guys make 'worlds' style arms that can be 3D printed on shapeways. You could argue that they are weaker, but if you don't crash, would look more like a molded part.

I'm not too concerned about looks, just the right fit and durability. I'd like to run it on modern tracks.

Also, are something like the Klein rear arms wider than stock buggy arms? Curious about CV shaft fitment.

yes, the klein front and rear arms end up giving you the same geometry as the rpm worlds car, which requires unique rear arm mounts, but you end up with the same rear width. They would utilize the standard rc10 u-joints/dogbone/cvd whatever style you chose. problem is the rear arm mounts are difficult to find, and require trimming the rear of the chassis. someone does make rear arms mounts 3d I believe now.

for durability and availability, you could go with what you suggested, kleins up front with a truck nose, and standard rear arms and mounts.

you could also do the 'old is new' setup(which is kinda old now) to enable you to run the rear wider to allow use of B4 rear wheels. I believe the klein rear arms, b44 cvd's and juggling rear hub/washers spacers, etc gets you where you need to be.

I think Joey, (JKracing) has good experience with a bunch of permutations and can give you his thoughts from race experience.

It has a home made G10 chassis, so trimming is not an issue, but apparently finding the mounts would be. I guess I'll stick with the stock rear setup for the time being, but it would be nice to use the B4 rear wheels.

Thanks guys!

The car is already converted to B4 front hubs.

I forgot to add to my list you also need a low profile 8-32 axle nut.

What length turnbuckles are you guys using? I didn't see any mentioned in that thread. If they're standard worlds car stuff I can locate those, but if not part numbers would be handy. Thanks!

I got my Klein arms in today and installed them. Man the fit on the hinge pins is tight.

Nevermind, I got it. The front 4 are 2 inches.

B44 cva's are on order.

I always use old turnbuckles, as well as the brand of ball cup I plan to use (since they're all different lengths) to figure out what length turnbuckles to order.
