Classes:
- Heritage 1987 and older 2wd 21.5 motor limit
- Old School
1997 and older 2wd 17.5 brushless or any mod brushed, motor limit
- Mid School
2013 and older 2wd 17.5 brushless or any mod brushed,motor limit
- Rear Motor Revival
All rear Motor cars are allowed including Modern rear motor cars example Team Associated RB10 / Kyosho Dirt Master. No motor limit
- Stadium Truck
Any rear motor stadium truck 2013 and older 17.5 brushless or any mod brushed, motor limit
- 4wd Class
1997 and older 13.5 brushless or any mod brushed motor limit
- Tamiya Plastic
Must be a plastic tub style, ORV, or SRB Chassis Fixed timing closed endbell 540 motors only.
- Tamiya Wheelie
Tamiya Wheelie style cars, i.e. wild willy, lunch box, comical frog, comical grasshopper ect.
Rules:
- 2s lipo or 6 cell NiCad battery limit all classes
- Open tire, wheels no larger than 2.2 all classes
- 1/10th electric cars only all classes
You may compete in all classes that do not exceed the release date of your car. 4wd cars will not be allowed in any 2wd classes and vice versa.
- Classes are divided by release date. You are responsible for entering your car in the correct class or risk disqualification.
- Re-release cars are allowed and will be classified by the release date of the original car.
- Tamiya Plastic must be a plastic tub style, ORV, or SRB Chassis Fixed timing closed endbell 540 motors only. 2wd and 4wd class will be split if there are enough entries.
- Brushless ESC's must be set to blinky mode except for Rear Motor Revival Class
Vintage Concourse will be limited to 2013 and earlier cars.
- Minimum 5 cars to make a class

Dang, I don't think I am going to be able to make this one - though I would love to go!

By The Way - for the sealed-can (brushed) classes it sounds like a bring-your-own motor?
- No Handout?
- And no designated 'turns' ??
- So could you bring a 12-turn sealed can motor?!?

Some of the usual suspect are in discussions.

I would assume they mean a kit Tamiya silver can. Though it is left open for interpretation.

Looking forward to this event. I’ll be running a Tamiya SuperAstute in Oldschool and a VQS in Tamiya Plastic.

I'll be there as well! Planning on running my B2 in 2wd, CAT 2000 in 4wd, XXT in ST, and an RC10 in Heritage.

Practice will be free all day on Friday the 12th, but only if you are pre-registered for the race by the 5th. When we stopped there on the way down to the NC vintage race , it was $25. So if you're definitely going, save yourself some money and get in before the deadline.

Little typo in the rules, I think 4wd is actually 13.5 motor, not 17.5

The event went well overall for attendance and the entries. The track surface is sealed and the course was very tricky. When you pushed too hard you ended up with some pretty good crashes and I know a lot of guys were frustrated. The local fast guys were fun to watch and knew how to drive that layout.

I'll try and pull some images from Facebook to put up here later tonight. Lots of cool cars, a few very hard to find things in concourse. I ended up not even taking pictures working and wrenching on lots of different things.
