Where to find metal gears for rc10 B3 differential and maybe the stealth transmission?

I have a two year old now and have gotten back into RC. I have my old childhood rc10 B3. I put in a brushless motor with amazing results but I would like to beef up the necessary bits for handling the new power. Advice is much appreciated ๐Ÿ˜Š

As long as you're not overpowering it, it's really unnecessary.

This is your part number for the idler (9360) per associatedโ€™s website

Here is the aftermarket metal idler gear
https://www.ebay.com/itm/384237723404?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=LdYFTN_MR9-&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=d_l0pQBTRBK&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Keep your diff gear plastic. Or risk more expensive driveline parts.

TBH, the B3 has always been my favorite AE buggy. I've beatenen the snot outta mine with few breakdowns that have already been mentioned. I've used all the metal parts in the tranny at one point or another and end up with stock in the end. I've put some really hard runs on it with some excessive stupid power and the factory stuff always perserveres.

Otherwise my only hardest runner has front RPM arms and steering blocks as I was running out of carbon ones with that damn tube that kept running out in front of me on the front stretch...

A metal diff gear may be hard to find. The gear ratio is 2.40 the custom works 2.40 parts are compatible for the most part.

A properly built rc10 stealth handles a lot of brushless power. By the time you are making enough power to strip out gears you are likely to actually shatter the car on a crash. This is what happened to my T3 basher. The transmission is fine. The rest, not so much.

For retro racing I upgraded my B3 to a b4 top shaft and slipper assembly, it's a straight swap and takes the strain out the single slipper pad that comes in the kit.
