Hi,

The RPM trans uses its own top shaft, you cannot use any other top shaft.

With the RPM trans, you will have to use the B3/T3 slipper.

Scroll down the pages to see the exploded view of the T3.

https://www.teamassociated.com/pdf/cars_and_trucks/RC10T3/Team/cat_rtrT3.PDF

The B3/T3 has a larger diameter slipper than the original RC10,

I am using the B3/T3 slipper on my 6.5T brushless runner.

If you want to use the B4/T4 top shaft and slipper you will need to use the Stealth Gearbox.

Cheers, Dave. :)

You can use the B4 slipper in the RPM trans you just have to put the RPM gear on the B4 shaft.. I used a gear puller I got from hobbyking for a few bucks. Worked a treat...http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__47761__Turnigy_Pinion_Removal_Tool_AUS_Warehouse_.html?strSearch=pinion%20remo

be careful with the RPM trans. If you are using the 2.65 unit, it has a smaller top gear, which has been known to wear more quickly than a stock stealth setup. Brushless will just accelerate that. Since it's no longer in production, you may have trouble keeping that trans in shape for racing.

Thank you for your replies. I decided to pull the gear off the RPM top shaft and put it on a B4 top shaft. I bent the first B4 shaft but now know how to do it properly. I have another one ordered.

I know this is not a practical solution but for aesthetics I want to keep the RPM tranny. The truck will be run very little. Thanks again!
