Re: XLS rear bump-steer

Ironically, the original manual shows these washers to reduce the problem, but not the new one.

Re: XLS rear bump-steer

I found the same, and added a similar washer which all but removed the bump steer. I did the same to the front steering ball joint in the hub as there is a lot of bump steer on the front too.

The kits have now arrived at shops in the UK, and some have theirs in hand. I hope I can get mine tomorrow or no Revival running for me :(

Re: XLS Rerelease

I am afraid it's been pushed back to July, no day given. Not great for the UK's biggest vintage meeting at the end of the month (July)

Re: SHY's Tamiya B.A.R. Honda Hotshot Evolution

Hi SHY. I am currently upgrading my Boomerang inspired by your Hotshot. I have got the Supershot front suspension mountings, but I am not sure how long the shocks need to be. I understand the original Supershot had a lack of up travel in the front suspension, so I would think a shorter shock body wo...

Re: SHY's Tamiya B.A.R. Honda Hotshot Evolution

Can I ask where you got the red front upper hinge pin brace from? I am just about to get hold of my 1st Tamiya 4wd after many years racing, and I am inspired by your work. I want to use the car to race occasionally, so it needs to be strong. Thanks :D

Hi. I have been looking through some of your threads and work you have done on some of the old classic cars. Very inspiring :-)

Re: Yokomo Off-Road Car Timeline

Hi guys. Can anyone please confirm the release date of the MR4 BC? I have the basic one that I may be racing in a vintage class soon, and the cutoff year is 2000. I think it was released in 1999. Thanks :D

Worlds rere battery strap

Hi guys. I ran my RC10 Worlds last Sunday at my local club, a bumpy astro track with a 7.5 and it went really well, beating all of the 4wd modern cars in my heat! Anyway, I am running saddle pack lipos in the car, and the battery strap is causing a headache. Basically, the battery connection tubes a...

Re: rc10 world's re release

My kit I recently received had a bad layshaft. A replacement B4 one has sorted it out. I also got bearings for the steering bellcranks as the bushings were very stiff. The bellcranks are free now, but a little sloppy perhaps.
