Re: The dangers of charging a lipo in the car...
My guess as to the cause of this, would be an incompetent user, coupled with an intolerant technology and poor engineering and quality control of the power system. That being said, from my R/C Li-Poly flying experience, even when using the best cells (korea made), the best charging equipment ( Germ...

Wheel help
Ok so the year is 1991, and you are racing the same gold pan you have had for years. You already drilled your chassis and swapped in a stealth trans, you put the long arms up front and all those goodies. Good motor, novak electronics.....what would have been the hot wheels of the day?

I was thinking kydex as well for an option. Have you ever hot formed dimples in it for the countersunk screws?

Re: Connector Indecision
Ya ya I know, but the reality of it is that I want to toss this down and run a few laps with my kiddos and not have to break out the soldering iron. I just picked up some NOS race preps on the bay ( for cheap ), so I am going that route I think. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Race-Prep-Pro-2-Connectors-72...

Connector Indecision
Hey Guys, Finishing up a "runner" goldpan rebuild. The car was last raced in 1990 or 1991 so I am putting it back into that configuration. Though I know hardwiring was popular, for practicality I am going to use battery connectors. Trying to decide between Anderson and Race Prep pro2. Whic...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
My $50 gold pan. Didn't think I did too bad considering the stealth, Novak T-4 and Novak Receiver. Someone put a lot of holes in the chassis! Looks like it was raced and not bashed as there is not a scratch on the underside and nothing is stripped or beat up. Kind of a weird combo, looks like it was...

Re: What did I just buy?
So what year are we thinking here, '83? '84? When I was foolishly thinking it was a T1 I had one project in mind, but I am wondering if this would be early enough to be appropriate for my jomac lightning?
