Re: Difference between SRB and ORV chassis uprights?

Same part as far as I know, other than the originals were less chunky and more elegant compared to the re re part .

Re: Tamiya Tyrrell P34 6-Wheeler 1977 Argentine - Reissue

Lovely car ! Brings back memories for me, I went to church with Adam and Clair Tyrrell , niece and nephew of Ken Tyrrell who owned the team . I visited their factory a couple of times , sat in the cars , looking back it was all a very primitive and fairly small factory, more a set of workshops , I g...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

Dusted off the lath and turned up a new gear hub for the Mini Mustang, this one allows a single gear to fit on the two speed lay shaft , I just couldn't live without breaks any longer , I've got a single speed I my all genuine parts car and I had the two speed in my 3d printed car , so nice to drive...

To late now if you've made the order but I noticed you can get SLS printed PP now , probably ideal for bumpers, cages and suspension arms .

Re: Marui Hunter - My first buggy... Found one to restore :-) - and a Galaxy RS too :)

By the way, I'm not surprised at all you love the idea... But you have ways to do that I don't have, and I would really love to see you scaling down some buggy as well :-D I've had this in mind but with more cheating , I've got a WLToys A959 that I never really use , its bonkers fast for a 1/18 car...

Re: Marui Hunter - My first buggy... Found one to restore :-) - and a Galaxy RS too :)

Another solution to the gears is to just cheat monstrously and find a 1/18th scale car and buy the gears for it and adapt the mini Hunter as needed , that way you can publish the required parts with the STL files , there are a ton of cheap 1/18th cars on the market and I'm sure a little research sho...

Re: Marui Hunter - My first buggy... Found one to restore :-) - and a Galaxy RS too :)

Oh Mark ! 1/2 scale 0.8 mod gears  firstly "good luck" , secondly id highly recommend using a smaller nozzle than 0.4 mm , a 0.4 mm nozzle is just about ok at 0.8 mod but even then the trough between gears can lose depth causing tight mesh , I've often cut the trough deeper to compe...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

A pair of PB Mini Mustang one way drive shafts , big surprise was these are aluminium not steel like my other set , these were originally going in my partly 3d printed runner but they may transition to my original parts car .

Re: Traxxas Bullet Refresh

I'm almost certain the cage has been modelled by someone already , try searching in the usual places for the file .
Just had a look and I can't find it so I'm probably wrong .
