I was told it is MIP system. I have never seen one like that before.

Re: My A&L trailing arm car

The body looks great Tomi and it appears to fit the chassis very well. I'm curious about how you are attaching the back; I assume it's fixed somehow to the shock tower? The paint work looks very Ultrahive. Really nice! That body is painted by Ultrahive, the first I got from him years ago. It’s been...

Re: My A&L trailing arm car

Quite a lot of cutting was needed but now the body fits just fine. I like the look even it is not really period correct. Now I just need to wait for missing parts so I can finish the build.

Re: My A&L trailing arm car

That body looks a lot like a Viper in that pic. With the rear section cut off.

My A&L trailing arm car

I got a car and a box full of parts from a local racer at our track. The car is A&L trailing arm car from very late 1980's or early 1990's, but he couldn't remember the exact year when he had last time raced it. The car itself is not in very good shape but pretty much complete, only few parts we...

Re: RC10 with gear diff

You will be surprised how good gear diff is on these cars. At least I was. It’s not easy to remove the diff for maintenance but what’s the rush with old cars.

Re: RC10 with gear diff

I still think it’s great! Combined with Niki’s rear arm mounts, traxxas arms, and b4.2 hexes it’s a superb handling package. I have only run the car on turf but see no reason why it wouldn’t work on carpet also.

Re: RC10 with gear diff

Setup is now pretty much perfect, only thing I would like to improve a little is on power steering, or the lack of it. I seem to be overly cautious with the car as I don't want to break it but it still is much faster than I thought it would be. And very easy and predictable to drive. Gear diff is wo...

Re: RC10 with gear diff

OK, I finished the build once again. I’m also using Niki’s rear arm mounts for RPM73282 rear arms, so I’m able to use 12mm hex wheels. I can now use same wheels as with my b6.1 so that’s a big advantage. In my hands this car is 1.5s slower than my b6.1 on our local astroturf track. Best laps are 21....

Re: How to mount B4 transmission on RC10?

I finally managed to strip down my Graphite and mount b4.1 transmission with Niki’s bulkhead. Previously I had it mounted with only two screws at the bottom and wing mounts so now it’s much more secure with two more screws. As I have already modified the chassis I didn’t have to remove any material ...

Re: How to easily mount B4 transmission to your RC10?

I see the gear differential option. Actually I have been running B4.1 transmission with gear diff on my RC10 Graphite with modified original bulkhead and on astroturf it proved unbeatable. This makes the swap much easier.

Yes, he's Ultrahive but seems to be quite hard to get in contact with. I found him on Instagram with that name.
