Got my car going....after sitting for 20 years or so.....with a Kyosho stock 05 motor, I wasn't too impressed....but it did roll!

To be honest, I don't remember ever racing with that on my car...may have been just goofing around with it. I do have one on my HPI RS4....love the "stealthiness" of it....all belts, no noise...... :mrgreen:

I was digging around out in the garage and I found some more Voltima goodies.....the a-arms are the 2 degree toe-in ones.....

Once I got the basic configuration down, there was very little I did to prep for one track or another. I had 3 sets of shocks (the BIG advantage of the plastic shocks....they were cheap!) that had light, medium, and heavy oil, and 2 sets of springs. I used to have a plastic spacer I put under the shock piston to force the rings and keeper back into place....the washers shown works the same....

Shocks are pretty much a personal preference....what works for me may very well not work for you....I was a very conservative driver.....no big air, tried to drive as clean a race as possible, you can really move ahead of the pack by missing all the crashes..... :mrgreen: I don't remember having pro...
