I just saw this today. I can't buy another car right now, but maybe it's the right one for you.

Re: wiring brushed motor
If I had just seen the + on the end I would have been good. After I saw it I felt like an idiot for coming on here and asking
Now to get it wired up and installed. I've had this Ultima for months and it hasn't had a first run.

Re: wiring brushed motor
Thanks. I didn't notice the + sign on the plastic part of the end bell. I was looking at the copper sides for some kind of markings

wiring brushed motor
I just got a cheap Surpass 17t motor & 60a esc combo for my Ultima. The motor wires are not attached and I want to make sure I set them up so the blue wire on the motor connects to the blue wire on the esc. I know where to connect them, just not sure which side gets which color. https://live.sta...

Re: Showing My Age...Question About Newer Brands Out There
I have never driven 1, but a lot of people say the Tekno MT410 is the most durable 1/10th monster truck out.

Re: Tamiya or not Tamiya
I got the Holiday Buggy wheels/tires on a Sand Scorcher which uses the same wheels/tires as the grasshopper so I would think the Grasshopper wheels would work on your Holiday Buggy.

Re: Tamiya or not Tamiya
I'm pretty sure those are original Holiday Buggy wheels and tires. When I got my Sand Scorcher roller it had those wheels/tires so I looked them up.

I watched Full Metal Jacket last week and I'm picturing all the soldiers loading up socks with Tamiya bushings to teach private Pyle a lesson. LOL

Re: Does anyone not keep a Tamiya tool in their (non-RC)toolbox?
Most of the kit boxes from cars I have built have 1 in them. I also have 2 sitting on my workbench. I send one whenever I sell a car.
Do any of you keep the Tamiya plastic bushings? Any creative uses for them? I never got rid of mine so I know I have a ton in the kit boxes.

Re: Bear Hawk
Wow, that was a cheaper than I would have thought. Maybe Tamiya will re-re it for a decent price someday.
I just remembered that the front wheels are 1.9" so it's possible Kyosho Ultima tires or the Jconcepts 1.9 Rips might work with the stock wheels.

Re: Bear Hawk
Front tires will be the hardest part for this buggy. If you can find a set they usually run in the $50+ range. Fine for a shelf queen but not so great for a runner. The rear tires are still made.
I sold my Bearhawk a couple years ago. I regret it of course.

Re: Grasshopper 2 or Hornet
It's either an original Grasshopper that has had the "Hornet conversion", or a hornet with a Grasshopper body thrown on. Not a GH2, the front arms aren't right. The front wheels/tires aren't stock.
