Re: T3 shocks on gold pan?
So I tried it, and must say, its freaking wide. I'm afraid too wide. I don't even know if I should continue with the back end or not.

Re: GAS SPRINT CAR PROJECT FINISHING IT UP
Very nice looking. I dig the wheel/tire combo. I wouldnt mind doing a sprint car one day. I sure wont do nitro though. I have had my days with nitro cars. I still run my planes on it for some reason.

T3 shocks on gold pan?
How awfully wide would it look with a gold pan and t3 arms/shocks? I was eyeballing it, and it would be one wide SOB.
I tried the search, but it wont let me search for t3.

Re: Welded Pan
I still have a few holes to fill. And some will need redrilled because of how close they are to other holes. I wanted to see how well it would work first.

Re: Welded Pan
I used 1100 rod. I think I might just powdercoat it. If I could anodize the exact color, I would probably go that route.jwscab wrote:what did you use for filler? if you used 4043, if you try to anodize it, the filler won't color the same as the parent material.

Welded Pan
I thought I would try my hand at welding a pan. This thing had 4 huge holes in it, and two extra holes. They are gone now. Got them mostly ground down, and need to mill it all flat. I didn't take good before shots like I wanted to, but here is an old picture from the seller. Whatchas think? Ok, I ca...
