Re: Super Astute rere

I'm hoping this release opens up the doors for Monster Racers, madcap, and saint dragons - with the new upgraded gearbox. I'm glad Tamiya upgraded the gearbox as this keeps the original a bit more exclusive, its also good to have the grey CVA shocks available again! The new gearbox can also be bolte...

Re: Off topic...my first modern buggy!

I know this goes against everything I stand for, but some deals you just can't pass up. The BSR Basher BZ-222 was on sale at hobby king so I nabbed one. I should have bought 4 -big bores -alloy chassis -belt drive trans with sealed gear diff and slipper -rear or mid motor -cv's -3500kv brushless mo...

Re: Is the slow economy affecting your hobby?

Personally I think its partly by design. I think its no coincidence that Mark Carney is now Governor to the Bank of England. When he was In Canada it was during probably your biggest housing boom, perfect person to appoint to England while we are in a massive housing boom too. He will know exactly h...

The Sierra Cosworth!! Not sure how you'd replicate the wing tho? Yokomo bodies, YZ10, Pro Tech. Is that the slim RC10T, i.e early edition?

Re: My 91 RC10 Worlds Replica

 I wish I hadn't seen this! I'm still trying to convince myself not to do one of these builds, must resist!

Looks amazing, love the vintage Txs as well!

Who did the paint? And where are the decals from?

Re: Cougar 1 and 2 carbon tub chassis question.

Anyone know of the carbon tub chassis are still made? Also, will they work on a works car? No there not. Fibre-lyte were going to start re-making them but didn't bother - cant remember why. Depends on if they were made for a works car, most likely they were - if not then they could easily be made t...

Re: Groups

Great thread! I was thinking the same thing, recently joined all of the FB groups and as there is loads of activity. I didn't get on with it as it feels like its all too much, and to be honest its kinda putting me of vintage RC now, just getting tired of it as its everywhere. Its great for the hobby...
