Re: RC10T Cliff Lett Edition Kit
It is all good for shelf queens and occasional runners, but this is not good for the racers. If you don't have trackside parts support you either carry a hobby shop on your back or accept that every crash or hard landing could ruin your day. Granted, most of you crash less often and less sever...

Re: Bored? Come To The Chit / Chat Thread
Anyone hear about RC Reviews on Youtube losing his channel? That is terrible! They wiped out all of his work and his revenue stream :x . I don't know which is worse, when they delete an account as an oopsie, or when they shut someone down for wrong think. Coincidentally, I went to a hobby shop out ...

Re: Vintage Sanyo Batteries
I used the car lights also- 10 of them in parallel. I thought the trick was to use lights so you could catch them right as they were dimming but not quite out for consistency.
I must have read that in RCCA.

Re: Vintage Sanyo Batteries
I am no expert, but the "bad" corrosion that indicates the battery is toast is usually powdery and greenish white. It is an acid leak/reaction. You see it often around the terminals on 1:1 car/truck lead acid batteries. You can neutralize it and clean it off with a baking soda and water mi...

Re: BoLINK R/C Legends
At the track here the Legends ran 21.5 on 1S LiPo. That was plenty of power as they are rather small and weigh next to nothing.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Whats hex or non hex wheels mean? "Hex" and "non-hex" refers to how the wheels mount to the buggy. Hex has a hexagonal shape molded into the mounting surface. That fits over a hexagon shaped piece on the end of the axle. The bearings are inside the hub. There are a few hex sizes...

In that first photo with the screwdriver at the top, those are all capacitors. The large one is an electrolytic, which means it is polarized. It has a positive and negative lead and must be installed correctly. The rest are non-polarized and can be installed either way. They are interchangeable as l...

Frankentruck makes an appearance on CourtTV?
I am working from home with the TV making noise in the background, and I keep hearing "Frankentruck". Wait! What!?! What does Ed have to do with the Karen Read murder trial???

Too many JrX2 wheels is a problem best solved by obtaining more JrX2s.BattleTrak wrote: ↑Tue Jun 03, 2025 8:40 pm Not that I need any more Jrx2 wheels..but I got 2 more sets.. finally a matching set of Pro-line #2547 & #2548 chrome wheels.. and getting closer to a complete set of glue on wheels.

Useless fact- Schottky diodes work exactly like regular diodes, except super fast. Basically, current can only flow in one direction with any diode. Reverse the voltage and the diode's internal resistance goes sky high and no current flows. The Schottky switches on/off faster than regular diodes. Fa...

Bolink FTW ! I grew up around a lot of bikers (the big tough bearded Harley riding kind, not the spandex and pointy helmet kind) and I could swear "FTW" meant something different back then. Congratulations on the win, although I must confess, my vote went to the Ford Thunderbird bod...
