Re: RC10B6/D

If you plan on running on clay the B6D would be the way to go. To convert to a B6 you would need to swap out the transmission case, idler gear, gear diff(if desired), front arms and shock tower. I plan on trying to fit a B6 laydown transmission in my B5M FL along with the front carriers. http://www...

Re: Backyard fun- Tamiya choices

So I am guessing an rc10 worlds car with a 6 gear dropped in and short front arms would be a no go? I do have a couple of 6-gear Trans based chassis' and I was debating on going thru a 6 gear and making a short arm runner (in addition to my 2 WOIN builds, one of which is an outdoor runner). I do li...

Backyard fun- Tamiya choices

So a fellow racer has decided to build a track in his backyard. The goal is vintage "Bashing" Tamiya/Kyosho/etc and less about the competitive cars (Not cars like the RC10s or JRX2s- though 6gears could be allowed.) limited to SilverCan 540s. I've already updated my Frog (original) with th...

Setup Sheets

Other than PETITRC - which seems kinda limited.... Wondering if anyone here who might still race their vintage cars has any Setup sheets or if there is a dedicated thread for "SETUPS" only? I tried searching for something Sticky, but no real Setups ONLY thread. I've seen people discuss set...

Re: rpm ultra chassis build

Jason, Remember A LOOOOOONG time ago you made replacement Battery hold down posts for these...... I STILL haven't built this thing. I need to get to building mine. I love this RPM chassis, so stocked I have a couple, eventually I would LOVE to run one, but those RPM Worlds arm are so treasured, I fe...

Re: Driving Tips...

I'm usually pretty good about being able to help and spot for OTHER people, but I still seem to struggle. I just try and be smooth. I tend to not push hard, or drive overly aggressive. I also find this is the case with my Yokomo vs my B5M. I tend to Check up, or get scared with my Yoke, and thus Im ...

Re: 5 employees you meet at a Hobby Shop

As someone who has worked for 3 different HobbyShops over the years, I would like to add one more piece. The HobbyShop Owner. I prided myself on great customer service, no necessarily a Know-it-all, but well rounded and excited to get people into the hobby. At the last LHS I worked for, the owner wa...

Re: RC10B6/D

And here I was happy to finally own the latest RC-10 in the form of a B5M FL. Ditto- Just when I finally feel like my B5M is coming together. Guess I shouldn't be surprised..... This happened to me when the 44.2 was released. I got a screaming deal on the 44.1 NIP for less than Cost (for a h...

Re: RC10GT Blue Pan converted to brushless lipo

Anyone know if a GT body could be using or has anyone tried it on a T5M?

I have a Tub style GT (as well as the previous non RTR version of the GT) and I too was curious about an E conversion. Is that the RCMonster conversion or which one did you go with?

Re: Racer's, lets talk about the new breeds of 2wd buggies..

I currently run Yokomo- BMax2MR and I also have one in RM configuration. Prior, I was a dedicated AE guy (and still am, however) I recently couldn't pass up a deal on a Yoke and I have been quite happy. Its coming into Outdoor season, so I look fwd to trying my RM car out on the dirt. I currently ra...
