Same thing happened to rc truck we gave my son. Lasted about 5 minutes then no throttle unless you tap the bottom. Not Traxxas, but equally disappointing. Thank goodness for other gifts to play with.

Having worked at a new car dealer for almost 20 yrs, I could probably count on one hand the # of new cars I've seen with 1 mile on the odometer. Usually they have 2-3 by the time we see them. To see one from the 50's is cool-even from a Ford guy. (I think I just heard a groan from the GM crowd!)

Having worked on Mazda's for 15+ years I sure do miss those days. As mentioned the Probe was a 626-MX6 with Ford sheet metal. The 2.2L was virtually indestuctible. Easy to work on-tbelt was a quick one. Not many of either left in New England. Road salt/de-icer does a number on metal!
