x2. Making into a runner too. That is next level stuff, even just mentally, for an 834b.

Re: MIP 4X Chassis instructions- Who can read this?

About 1/4 of the way down this page http://www.toybaron.com/MIPreference.htm there is a red-wheeled color photo (might have been one of Shodog's) that shows that the camber block bar of frp (if that's what it's called) presumably those two little square frp parts as spacers to elevate it off of the ...

Welcome David. I too have a connection for that period and was in southern California as a teenager amongst to Scorpions, SRB's, 834b's and the earliest gold tubs.

Welcome. I'm kinda new here too of late, given I spend time in and out of this hobby. Can't say enough good things about this site and the folks on it. One recommendation I'd have for you is to take advantage of Google search power and bot experience, since putting "T3" in the search engin...

This is the best illustration I know of that traces MIP through the 1980's. http://www.toybaron.com/MIPreference.htm

McMaster Carr. Has a great search engine, and speedy shipping. Prices are not the hottest, and you might have to buy more than wanted on occasion. But way more selection than any brick and mortar hobby or home improvement store.

Don't hop it up, just clean it up. Dont stress over the ball cup thing. If you make a thread out of the cleanup, and have bst access, I know help will come out of the woodwork. There are some unique aspects to that car many of us appreciate as is.

I only have a vague guess at what this is but I believe I need one too, or at least I need a spot in line. I feel like the cave man that just got thawed out and is trying to catch up. Search function here I come.

Yeah that CC 10T looks like candy! Mine still has that (somewhat visual, hard to describe) smell that emanates from the ebay packaging as you open a 35 year old car (we've all smelt it and/or dealt it). It really never goes away. Not even brake cleaner wins that battle.

It might end up depending on a couple work things not yet under my control. This had indoor clay shoes on already when I boxed it up a couple years ago, I may some shocks to re-fresh.

Whoa. I'm going to be over there in Philly for a work conference, March 24-27. I haven't run a car for a few years now. But I'm intrigued!
