Looks great! Takes me back to when I built mine. Pretty sure I built it up all white, then stripped it and dyed it all black. To match the ad.

Re: LRM slipper upgrade parts

The top shaft is a double d isn't it? I think you can run a b4 style slipper with the appropriate spacers.

Re: 1:1 car connector corrosion cleaning?

Whatever you can get in there to scrape and clean will be helpful. Possibly vinegar applied sparingly. Soak down with contact cleaner and apply some contact antioxidaton grease before assembly.

Re: Lapping Iron Plates

Check McMaster carr for lapping compounds. The clover stuff is reasonably priced. The choices they offer gives you an idea of the surface finish you might be looking for.

Re: Blue tub RC10 RPM build

I have some updates so I can finally add it to the BOTM contest! Thanks to Markydents for a sweet piece to help RPM this thing a little further(rear bulkhead!), and Mike A. (Mikea96) for a sweet lid to help put the cherry on top!! I pulled some vintage NOS tires out of the part bin to place on the w...

Re: The 'Holiest' of Holy Grails AGI Jammer Build

Yep since the motor is flipped the polarity is reversed. Not a problem on a modified motor but a timed super stock type motor would be unhappy. Usually you flip the top shaft and cut the motor plate, if you can't flip polarity.

Re: Bored? Come To The Chit / Chat Thread

I think it might have been in the B/S/T area and might have had a shelf life? It was a good thread, we should probably start another one. I'll have to see if I have any singles to match. Pretty sure I have a couple of wheels that I thought were a pair but are actually different.

Re: Original Worlds Car Wheel Color

The original wheels I have are much more yellow than the rerelease. I guess you can say they are not fluoro? Unless they aged and lost the brightness.

Nice build! That body would look cool with some roll cage tubing around the cockpit.

Re: Became a first time Dad

Congrats!!!!!! Biggest challenge in the first year is SLEEP. Take turns working with your wife as much as you can. Walking rocking works awesome. The football hold works great for gassiness. Lay their belly on your forearm, the pressure helps their systems process. They cry for three reasons. Hungry...
