Re: RC10 Championship Edition (B Stamp)
Thanks for the clarification! Thats good news for me because all I have is a 6 gear and I can still build a correct representation of the CE.

bottom loading shock snap ring tool
Can someone point me in the right direction as to a good set of snap ring pliers that fit these shocks without modding? I bought a set at Harbor Freight with multiple attachments but non worked for me. Thanks

Re: Just another Andy’s Pro buggy build thread
Do all the Andy's arms require longer pins than factory AE parts? I realize that this thread is about a custom build using mostly custom parts but I have a chance to buy a new set of Andys arms front and back for mine.

Re: Trinity Joel Magic Johnson Champ motor?
So if I wanted to have this motor freshened up a bit could someone tell me what brushes I would need to find that would be correct for this type/brand of motor?

Re: Question regarding parts integrity
FanRC parts are great stand ins for original parts, and half the price on those rear arm mounts. Just depends on what your build will be. For a shelf car id go original but for a runner, brand new parts for less money is the way to go. https://teamknkhardware.com/product-category/fan-rc/ in stock a...

Re: Question regarding parts integrity
Did the aftermarket stuff like Andys do that as well? The aftermarket parts were made thicker and typically didn't have this happen. Ideally this should never happen. The pins are meant to be rigidly fixed to the mount. The wear point is supposed to be the arms. So the arms should ride free on the ...

Re: Question regarding parts integrity
That's normal and ok. The nylon in the rear arm mount is very thin where the hinge pin hole and the dogbone clearance cove meet. Some people trim that to fully expose the pin and make it look neater, some leave it just like that. However for part integrity you should rehydrate your nylon parts if i...

Re: Question regarding parts integrity
Interesting! I wondered if that were the case as I have seen it on others rebuilds. I am OCD and it bothers me lol
