Re: Machine cut xx/xxt decals
Pink and yellow XX and XXT was all they sold. I believe the team drivers got theirs cut in a variety of colors not available to the public.

Re: Hirosaka paint livery
I was trying to research Yokomo drivers from the 90's. Hiroshi Suzuki's name shows 7th place in the 4WD C-Main at the 91 Worlds. I also found pics of his newer Yokes and they released a "signature model" drift car with his name and picture on the box. If I had to make an educated guess, ba...

Re: RC10GX Stealth Masami 1989 Australia World Champ Replica
The first batch gave you the option of having the built in kick up chassis like I choose or having a separate piece to cut down on costs. Doesn't look like they offer option 2 any more.

I won't be using this as my personal build thread but will hopefully post a pic of my finished car once I source all the parts and its completed.
Got 2 of his first batch of kits.

Didn't see a thread started on this yet. Thanks to Andrew Cooke of Grand Prix 3D for making this dream build possible.

Re: Billy Easton 2003 RC10B4 Replica Build
I remember back in the day, this forum was very active. Times have changed.
Anyway, yes, I have an early B4. Except for the chassis with crazy glue, the rest of the car looks new. It appears the car was run maybe once or twice.

Billy Easton 2003 RC10B4 Replica Build
One of my favorite AE cars. I guess its safe to say the RC10B4 is officially vintage. 2003 was the first year this car won the IFMAR worlds. It won again in 2005, 2007, 2009, and in 2011. New parts are becoming scarce and prices on the rise. No MCI decal kits yet so this should be fun. I'm up for th...

Re: Info on this RC10 from RCCA
Curtis Husting more than likely painted those bodies. I have a Sidewinder body with the same colors that came from a guy who worked for AE a long time ago, possibly painted by Curtis. I'll also attach pics of my Curtis painted protech body and wing if you want to duplicate his retro paint scheme.

Re: New (to me) TQ10
My brother alerted me to this TQ10 for sale locally and I couldn't pass it up. First time I've ever seen one in person. Here's some pics of the TQ10 as it looked when I picked it up, along with a pic of it next to my RC10 Graphite that I bought back in 1990. Can you post more pictures of the box? I...

Re: Real Jay Halsey raced RC10 or Replica? Restore Project!!
Yes, I have emailed pictures of the car. He verified that the car at one point belonged to him. Thanks JOESGARAGE. (5 years later) Not looking to sell it to make money anyway. I may sell it one day to another collector when I'm on my death bed. LOL There were lots of questionable things about the v...

Restore Project!!
Bringing one of my old threads back from the dead. After moving all of my old RC stuff from storage in my parent's garage, and joining a few RC Groups on Facebook, I've finally decided to restore the original Halsey RC10 to period correct status. Based on this picture from the 1987 IFMAR Worlds, I'd...
