Re: Mardave Cobra quickie rebuild
Smart except for the metric nonsense  To be fair, most of the screws in a Mardave Cobra are self tappers.... so if you've got a bunch of spare AE or Losi M/C screws then why not, sure an upgrade from 'wood screws' The Mardave brand harks right back to the beginning of the 70s - right at ...

Re: Mardave Cobra quickie rebuild
Cool to see a Mardave Cobra existing stateside - the adjustable turnbuckles, blue chassis, slipper clutch & GRP indicates that this is the 'TQ' spec car - which was the spec of the car at first release, then slightly later the 'Sport' model was introduced. The Sport spec cars proved popular as t...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - November 2021 ** - Winner - Basher67
Well I am not a truck guy and so eventually this vote came down to a choice of two for me.... I have recently got hold of a red anno RC10 chassis so that build immediately grabbed my attention - they do look great and a little different in red.... but the FatCat also appealed, mainly because a very...

I’d like to enter this month with my runner/racer Schumacher Pro-Cat with Parma Fat Cat Bodyshell - as used for promo purposes in the magazine advert for the shell 8) Build thread here; https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=34889&hilit=ProCat https://i.postimg.cc/RVbQdDtZ/IMG-0664-zp...

Re: XX-4 rear wheel question / Help
I use the wider XXX wheels on my DoubleX buggy (the modern tyres sit better on them) I've trimmed off the top-most 'lug' on the hubs, its a hole/camber position I've never used before.

Re: JRX2 - The project.
Wow! What a transformation! As everyone has already said, superb work saving that chassis plate, I think most people would have discarded that to the side as a 'lost cause' I do like the paint scheme to - simple but very 'clean' & pleasing to the eye.... Early Losi's do seem to suit asym...

Re: The Next Level: Team Losi JRX2
Those look great! I'm having a hard time with the bottom side of my prints. I've only had the printer since December. I would be interested to know how you're printing those and what type of printer you're using. I'm printing with a Prusa MK3s+ FDM printer. I personally don't own the printer... the...

Re: Post Pictures of your Losi Vehicles
Been too long since I've worked properly on any of my Losi R/Cs - the Losi XX got used last year at the Iconic R/C Revival meeting (the only off race meeting I got to attend last year) - It finished 4th O/A in its year group class. There's a good few Losi's hiding in boxes waiting to be worked upon ...

Re: The Next Level: Team Losi JRX2
What a car..... just how often has this popped up of various Google image searches! I remember when the thought of vintage R/C & the endless possibilities of all the potential cars I could now own (now I could actually afford them) had popped into my mind & the realisation that there was a '...

Re: Losi XXT CR Graphite Plus - Runner Build
Wow very neat indeed! I like the hole for the servo lead too! I'd thought about doing this (trimming the chassis to get the battery to sit flush) But was always a bit worried about the thickness of material & whether I'd break through! The idea of setting a dermal onto an original Graphite STD l...
