Re: 2023 IFMAR 1:10 Off-Road Race thoughts?

I wasnt there but from watching it online, it didnt seem to have the worlds "feel" that most worlds have....just my perspective. I know a few people that have raced there and they say you need to bring your tire A game to compete there. On a side note I bought a used B6.3 from a friend who...

Re: Kyosho Inferno 1992 (MP3) Build

Really nice to see. That has to be quite rare to get a NIB Inferno kit. But it seems that 1/8 buggys are not nearly as desirable or collectable as the 1/10 class. Yet the WC is considered the most prestigious of all rc car catagorys. I just bought an Inferno to restore. It looks to have low use as p...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

I took my printed car out for a run on the local offroad track, along with my B6.3 and a recently acquired T5M. The printed car is a Badger, a front wheel drive. Has anyone seen one here? I also bought another project, a Kyosho Inferno (original), looks to not have a lot of time on it, buy is filthy...

Re: What factors led to the Ultima's win at the '87 Worlds?

Thinking about Kyosho not putting enough R&D after the 87' win, maybe the effort was more towards the 1/8 car....look how many times they won that WC?
But what do I know

Re: Losi JRX Pro is amazing

Im geared 20/86 with a lipo, and ran with the arms level. The rest was setup as per manual build. No slipper. I think I found the diff sweet spot! With no brakes I would scrub speed off into corners and roll power on coming out, low traction dirt. For carpet you will want to run a little lower, and ...

Losi JRX Pro is amazing

This past weekend was a 2 day race event with all the usual 1/10 classes and a vintage class for fun. It was a mixed bag of cars, one 4wd, two ST, three 2wd buggys. This jrx pro is borrowed from a friend, who picked it up as is, thus the ugly paint. It has a replaced front shock tower as you can see...
