The bottom pic looks like you have the thrust washers on wrong. The grooved side of the washer should be facing in toward the bearing. The balls of the thrust bearing should ride in the grooves.

I have found that sometimes when you buy a used chassis it already has extra holes drilled in it and more often than not they are not where you need them to be to mount the battery cup in the right position but are in the way of drilling the new holes where you want them. My easy fix for this is to ...

One option part I'd really like to see from JConcepts is a bearing cap for the e-clip end of the top shaft on the 6 gear tranny.

Seems like this thread has been put on the shelf with most of the re-re's that were sold.

The body has definatly grown on me as well, I think the shape of the cab was just more of a shock than I was ready for. The Detonator will be on my car as soon as I can order the new tires and wheels,I don't want to place multiple orders if I can help it.

My only real problem with the size of the wheels is that we are limited to Rips/DD's. Groovy's/Goosebumps (or some other pin/stud type rear tires will be a very welcome addition as tire options in the future. Until then I will just have to stock up on and live with the tires they have available. Not...

It looks like they drew up a cab forward body and after hearing people didn't want one for the RC10 they just pushed the cab backward and said DONE!
