Not sure, but I remember brushless used in insane speed run cars in the mid 90's. brands like Aveox etc...

it's pretty crazy. im down in melbourne is its blanketed in smoke from the fires up north....cant imagine what its like closer to the fires.

Means the Ultima i bought for restore a while back will have a bit more parts availability.

also means im not paying a premium for a popular vintage rc car again...everything is getting re-re'd now

well this isnt your usual topic here, but can anyone recommend a small brushless setup for a 16" tunnel/hydro? I have no idea when it comes to brushless, so motor / speed control (amps?) / battery are all unknown to me. in the oldschool days, a 380 brushed would probably just do the trick, but ...

agree with saito. there was a LOT of unique stuff before the B2/B3 era. now its just variations on turnbuckle length and how far a cab can move forward

tires, im using lunchbox tires...exactly the same as yours im guessing? I havent changed the rim width yet though...they are currently quite stretched. I think I will do the same as you there
