Re: Things that irritate you

Speaking of AI...AI narration in YouTube videos is another huge irritation for me, with the constant mis-pronouncing of everyday words and weird pauses...it's become so prevalent and very annoying.

Re: Inter-Fab Viper EX-10

I can weigh in on this issue of printing on clear sticker paper as well. I had terrible results too, as morrisey0 said. The colored/red areas were too transparent and became almost invisible when applied to a dark painted body. I got much better results making my own sticker images with a black back...

Re: Things that irritate you

Brief funny video clips that say "Wait for it" or "Watch to the end". I mean, who the heck watches a funny video compilation and STOPS watching 5-second clips just before they end??

That model has an interesting name. I wonder if Playtron ever considered making a Poodle? Or Chihuahua?

That car is beautiful inside & out. Love the purple aluminum-nums! Did this come out before HPI started offering kits with purple alloy parts?

Re: Things that irritate you

My question is, why are updates necessary? Seems every electronic device these days requires an internet connection and regular updates or they cease functioning. I'm fairly certain this issue with every damn thing needing "updates" is more about sharing whatever personal information they...

It looks like somebody tacked on a wing from a 1:14-scale buggy.

I love your rendering work, though...very impressive. I wish I could do that. 8)

That wing looks very undersized, at least from the renderings. :P

Re: Tips For Painting Headlights?

Make some stickers instead of painting the lights. I did that with some of my cars, including my Buick GN 1/12 car and a cool Ford Escort RS1800 body for a car I built for my daughter. I just found good, hi-res photos on the internet and resized them to fit the bodies, the printed them with my inkj...

Another option that's a bit off-topic as it's not about painting: Make some stickers instead of painting the lights. Re: 1:1 car connector corrosion cleaning?

Good question, I'm interested in the replies and suggestions. With car battery terminals, you'd basically scrape away the corrosion. Could you get a strip of 400-grit sandpaper in there and go sideways across the tops & bottoms of the rows of pins, to at least physically remove the corrosion fro...

Re: Brush Painting Aluminum/Chrome Details inside Lexan - First Attempt

I always use WD-40 to remove tape residue. Try it on an inconspicuous paint area first, but I don't think WD-40 will have any effect on paint, and washes away with some dish soap and warm water.
