Does anyone have any idea what this body is from? Came with a bundle of parts I bought. I've never been a fan of the Parma Fatcat body, but that's the best paint job I've seen on one, it really suits it

If you look again at the picture there's one of the spur adapters there too (the red thing)

They were made by RW Racing (Also known as SRM)

Most of the gearbox if aftermarket, the trans case is a Schumacher option, the rest is either MMS or Wasp.

I also have the Wasp high torque gearbox waiting for me to find something to attach it to.

I've got the MMS one in my Topcat. I've also got one installed in my Mk1 Cougar, they're good diffs

Those are super sexy I'd have to knock up an adapter to fit them to something Schumacher though, or hell, I'd have to build a crawler (which I've been meaning to do for years, you should see the mess my garden is in, It would make an awesome crawler track )

Those shocks are interesting, the seals don't look like the regular Schumacher purple seals. I wonder what buggy they are from?

My daughter started coming racing with me at around 6 I think. I got her going with an old Mardave Cobra with a silver can. The thing was damn near indestructible at those speeds. I've made my own in the past with (I think) 1.5mm piano wire. I couldn't find a drawing myself so it was just a bit of trial and error and lots of wire.

Back when the Silverstar was new, a hot motor would be about 17 turn. I think it would cry no more if you showed it an 11 turn

Speaking of puffy LiPos...one of my GensAce LiPos got a bit puffy the last time I balance-charged it. I remember checking it frequently and it never even got warm to the touch. I wonder if it's because they are using thicker carbon nowadays. It definitely looks thicker than the vintage tubs. Maybe that makes it harder to work with?
