Re: Finding a diff for the Axuial SCX10 transmission
Last post for now. Instead of drilling the tranny case, perheps some material could be milled off of the diff housing on a lathe to move the bearings closer together. Diff_compare_1.JPG Now is this the Tamiya diff we're talkig about? : Tamiya diff.JPG Tamiya diff_2.JPG Or the ball diff?: Tamiya diff...

Re: Finding a diff for the Axuial SCX10 transmission
Here is what was posted in the 3d10 thread: Pictures of the aluminum version of the transmission: https://www.rc10talk.com/download/file.php?id=172300&mode=view https://www.rc10talk.com/download/file.php?id=172299&mode=view those cases seem to have enough material in the bearing seating to d...

Finding a diff for the Axial SCX10 transmission
Since the 3d10 thread has been hijacked / side-railed a bit by this topic, I thought I'd start a separate topic on the options for finding a differential for the SCX10 / Injora transmission. These 2 threads had their take at finding a solution: 3s10 build -> suggests using the Tamiya TA06 differenti...

Re: Any Member In Canada Be Willing To Get and Ship eBay Item?
That right there is why I love this forum!Toaster wrote: ↑Thu Apr 04, 2024 9:11 pm Hey there,
I am in Canada and would be happy to oblige, let me know. Might be faster to email me at [email protected] if there is still interest?
Have it saved in my eBay, just let me know and I will pull the trigger.

Re: 3d10
More research is needed. I have a BBX, Axial and Injora transmissions but I'd rather not tear into them at the moment. Imagine a TA06 diff dropping into an AE Stealth case -- how crazy would that be! :D EDIT: The Stealth diff gear is much smaller tooth count so no chance replacing it with a TA06. A...

Re: 3d10
... it is using a rc10gt transmission with a electric conversion kit and i drilled the top so i could install the top shaft the opposite direction. ... Nice build. I think you misunderstood the laydown transmission concept... That's more like a reversed laydown, moving CGR even further ba...

Re: 3d10
well making progress on building one with a diffless transmission lol .at 17$ for the complete trans its pretty tempting even with no diff . The next time you disassemble the transmission, could you please measure the dimensions of the "no- diff " gear? - width - diameter - bearing size -...

Re: TLR22 king pin questions
Thank you! Unfortunately that means I can´t use those king pins. The length is around what I´m searching but it´s to thin. Someone know king pins which are around that length but either 1/8" or 3.0 mm for the shaft diameter? The type with the thread would be nice but oldschool type for e-clips...

.... Too hard to undrill the holes in this one. 🤣 . PXL_20230916_012816076~2.jpg Actually a CF chassis is fairly forgiving when it comes to "undrilling" holes. Epoxy and perhaps some CF snips or even a real thin weave layaer on the top and / or bottom if you want to go all in. Even plain ...

470 € for the pre order here in Germany
But looking at the carbon and aluminum parts I guess that price is to be expected.

Re: 1/12 scale Off-Road racing opinions
Unfortunately the digital world delivers an instant gratification experience even similar to RC car DRIVING, not building. I was never was a regular at any kind of track, but I did get my kids some RC cars and rebuilt them with them, BUT when my daughter found out that I tore them down prior to rebu...
