Re: Your top 10 picks for most influential, must have R/Cs
[quote="junkman"]I don't remember what car really started the touring car craze, seems hpi rs4, shortly after tc3, those hold a pretty big part in there as well. I know tamiya had been making scale apearing, road cars for a good while but something around the time of those two caused touri...

Re: Anyone have an archive of vintage paint jobs??
I'm looking for ideas on an Kyosho outlaw ultima right now. The decals are impossible to get so I have to settle on plain paint.

Re: fallout 3
I do the same thing, once in awhile I heat the pawns, fleas, and yard sales for hidden treasure. Since I started collecting back in 1989 my stuff has done nothing but appreciate in value. This is the only reason why my wife approves lol. I convinced her the same with my R/c collection. She thinks 60+ v...

Oh man! Another addict! This is the best game I have ever played...and i've been playing computer games for as long as there were computer games! Anybody here besides me remember the Commodore Vic 20 and Zork? Fallout 3 has so much content that you don't want to finish it. I have actually finished ...

Re: fallout 3
I can't tell you the number of hours I wasted trying to map out Zork on graph paper. "You are in a small, dark, cave. To the north there is a door. To the south there is a cave troll". 'Go left" "go right" "go up" "use torch". No pictures or graphics, ju...

Re: Anyone have an archive of vintage paint jobs??
Yeah I used time tunnel for some vehicles,Tamiya club members do mostly box art paint jobs so that won't do any good. I am seeking pro grade hand laid paint jobs. Where is your paint section?

Re: Please critique my very first restoration
Top job! The finished product looks great. As well as asking how you stripped the paint, can I also ask how you high speed buffed the aluminium without affecting the gold anodize? I did not buff the chassis, only the silver aluminum parts. I like the chrome look that it gives. Gotta love the dremel...

Re: Please critique my very first restoration
That is a beauty! how did you strip the paint? Enquiring minds want to know... Ha, I knew that would be the first question!!! I used a citrus based cleaner I found at the dollar store in undilluted form called orange blast. Not sure if it works on all paints but it worked on this. I also stripped a...
