Re: Cantilever shock geometry on my Superchamp SRB mod
We ran this back in the day. RCH nylon arms, Kyosho Shock with RCH coil kit, RCH swaybar, steel Tamiya u-joints. Raced on carpet and dirt. When I bought my MIP rear end and ARS cage this all became obsolete. I wish I still had all of those old parts. Try to explain to someone wanting to purchase a n...

Tamiya SRB Re Release vs Original rear Bumpers
I picked up a re release rear bumper for an original car. I wasn't aware that the re release was longer. I am ready to slot the bottom holes to make it work. What have others experienced and what were your solutions for making them work?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Worlds Car Shocks and O-rings
Guys - Thanks for the help. We were down in Hallett Oklahoma running the Porsche so I was working on these in the motel room and had left the instruction manual at home. I bought new O-rings in case I nicked the one trying to install them in the wrong places. The shocks are now together correctly.

Re: Ball Cups and Turnbuckles
What do you guys suggest? All I was after was something with less slop in the cup that would stay on.

Ball Cups and Turnbuckles
I want to use the stock turnbuckles in the Worlds kit but would like to replace the Ball Cups. This of course would make links that are too long as the turnbuckles are designed to work with the length of the stock smaller ball cups. What do you guys do in an instance like this? 1) Give up on the sto...

Re: Worlds Car Spindles - What Thread?
Yeah.. I know how they work. I still don't care for them. I would have to say I don't want to have adequate nuts.

Re: Worlds Car Shocks and O-rings
Hi - Are you saying that the larger of the two orings goes in the adjusting collar and the smaller goes up top with the Cap? If so.. are you sure? Thanks

Worlds Car Shocks and O-rings
What are you guys doing to assemble the shock caps to the body with the O-rings. The ones that I have seem to be a little large and are just spit out of the side when twisting the cap down. I have seen shocks in the past that instead have Teflon tape to get them to seal so apparently this o-ring dea...

Re: Worlds Car Spindles - What Thread?
I don't care for the nylon nuts as they are 4/40 being stretched when installed to 5/40.
I instead purchased some steel 5/40 lock nuts that I am going to use.
I will treat them nice and it shouldn't be an issue.

Re: help me out please guys 1980s rc 10
Just a suggestion for your consideration. As the parts are available for your short arm 80's buggy why not just leave it in that configuration. These ran fine during that era. If your want something with more performance find a long arm car with Stealth Transmission off of Craigslist or purchase the...
