Re: Status on the new XX Bulkheads
Great to see someone trying to address the XX bulkhead issue. I would say £15-18 would be a fair price for a quality, low production, custom part like this. Any chance of using the black nylon though? The white spoils the look of the XX for me. The mk1 with all black parts is still the best looking ...

Re: NEW RC10B5
The Cliff Lett Radio Impound cast mentioned AE had new products due and a AE mid motor car underway that wasn't the Centro as such.... sounds interesting. Be nice to see an official mid AE car for both sides of the pond...

Kink that is a sign of OCD!
But if you can post up the part code.. all is forgiven. Can you still get them front and rears matching?

Re: Pretty lousy quality for $250.00
For the 2'2 wheel option they should have re-released the off white style B3 wheels. Use them on my Team car and they look very period still. Still, for those staying with the traditional goldpan design then probably not too much of a concern.

Re: Pretty lousy quality for $250.00
It's a shame AE don't seem to have given too much consideration to cosmetics on the re-release. If you went for the modern wheel upgrades you'd end up with a gold pan, blue axles, cream plastics, snot green ball cups and bright white wheels... bit of a dogs dinner looks wise no doubt! Still the crea...

Re: Pretty lousy quality for $250.00
Are the re-re kit ball cups the same pale snot green as the re-released spares?
Ordering a second set to see if just got a particularly bad 'green' set.
Other plastic new spare parts seem fine though.

Re: Associated's RC10 Classic
Perhaps this is the 'differences' they were talking about to distinguish between originals! Had some re-released parts come through this week, are they meant to be distinguishable from original parts in some way? From a quick look most bits look identical with no stampings etc? Not really a concern ...

+2, as a vintage racer rather than collector the Yz10 has much more appeal.

Re: Losi XX fitting Trinity blue transmission brace
Hi Thanks for reply, will get pic when at home but it's a different brace, without the sides, just a simple flat tab with no side arms. i.e it doesn't screw into the shock tower at all. More shaped like the one someone made from the composite rear arm mount section in another thread on here? Sorry n...

Losi XX fitting Trinity blue transmission brace
Hi All, Does anyone remember if you are meant to use washers under these to bring the height of the brace up more in line with the lip of the shock tower ? (presuming that's where the alloy tab braces to?) Without any washers there is about a 3-4mm difference between top of tranny case andand the sh...

Re: Long chassis on a Losi XX buggy?
Many thanks chaps.
Tempted to give it a try. Would imagine a normal body could be made to fit just about.
Is the battery tray section the same length as a std chassis? A little extra length would be welcomed if not for lipo use.

Long chassis on a Losi XX buggy?
Has anyone ever tried running the long chassis (Team Losi LOSA9903) on a Losi XX Buggy (not truck)? Wondering if the standard body fits? (roughly) And how much longer it is than the standard chassis? Planning on running a XX on a very large, 1/8 based outdoor track and wondering if the longer chassi...
