AE Hard anodised shock rebuild

Hi All, just after a bit of advise, is it possible to use other shock shafts and seals in associated hard anodised shocks, am I correct in assuming that the diameter of the imperial shock shaft will be different to a metric shock shaft and then therefore the orings will be a different size to Tamiya...

Re: Your top five cherished RC (by manufacture) in a collection?

Tough question to answer, ill give it a stab

1. Kyosho Lazer ZXS

2. Kyosho Lazer ZXS Evolution

3. Yokomo WCS 93

4. Yokomo Pavidis 97

5. Tamiya TRF 503

Plenty of other cars I could swap into the list, this is where I am at at the moment, it changes all the time but the top 3 would be consistent

Re: Tc3 "O" ?

Did the conversion kit come with a manual for this car, I have searched the internet but have come up empty handed.

I managed to pick one of these up locally the other day to do a refurbishment on, looks like an interesting model

Yokomo WSC 93/94 Arms

Can anyone advise or know if the WCS 93 came with the lightened arms or the solid arms, searching through the forum I am thinking that it may have been either ???

Re: Yokomo YZ4 vs YZ4SF2

based on the same driver and set up of the cars the YZ4 would still be better than the older Yokomo cars due to suspension, drive train, steering etc, in my opinion the Bmax would still be better than the YZ4 I wouldn't go with the DB02 as it has drive train and handling issues, the ZX7 is getting o...

Re: Yokomo YZ4 vs YZ4SF2

The belt drive YZ4 was a fairly average car, its gearing was limited for stock and was considered a bit of a slug over here, the inertia of the belts caused the nose to drop over jumps so a good balance of throttle control was required,The YZ4SF was a big step forward and won the 4wd WC in china, th...

yeah mate, Black special edition, only difference was the steering and ball diffs, One way front and locked centre diff.

the front hubs are as soft as butter, I normally replace these with the Yeah racing version.
